I Need Accommodation For Ag Quip But Everything Is Booked Out!
Generally, accommodation in Gunnedah over the AgQuip period is booked out from year to year and Gunnedah Home Hosting may be the best option for you to secure home stay accommodation in Gunnedah.

What Is Home Hosting?
Gunnedah Home Hosting is a bed and light breakfast style accommodation service whereby clients are ‘billeted’ by local residents in their private homes. Clients are provided with a cosy bed, full linen service and light breakfast daily.

Gunnedah Home Hosting is operated by Gunnedah Shire Council and coordinated by the Gunnedah Visitor
Information Centre to assist visitors and exhibitors find accommodation in Gunnedah during the busy AgQuip period.

How Can I Register For Home Hosting?

To register you can;
- Request a Client Registration Form by telephoning the Gunnedah Visitor Information Centre on (02) 6740 2230 or 1800 KOALAS.
- Download and print off the Client Registration Form PDF. The form must be fully completed to apply for home stay accommodation. 
- Submit your completed form by email, fax or post to the following;
FAX: (02) 6740 2119 – Marked ‘Urgent Attention’ – Gunnedah Visitors Centre.
POST: Gunnedah Visitor Information Centre, PO Box 63, Gunnedah NSW 2380.

A prompt reply will increase your chances of securing a booking. Once received Gunnedah Home Hosting will process your request and issue a Tax Invoice.

The tariff is $99.00 (including GST) per person per night for a bed and light breakfast, with a minimum booking of two (2) night's stay required.

How Can I Pay?
Payment can be made directly online by BPoint or you can pay the Tax Invoice by Cheque or Money Order.
Once payment in full is received and receipted, Gunnedah Home Hosting will allocate accommodation to you.

PLEASE NOTE – Gunnedah Home Hosting will not ‘hold’ accommodation for you. The Tax Invoice must be paid by the due date indicated (within 7 days) to secure accommodation.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Please notify Gunnedah Home Hosting of all cancellations via email to or Fax (02) 6740 2119. A $99 booking fee will be charged on all accommodation cancellations received up to COB on Friday, August 18, 2017. Cancellations received after this date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Home Hosting IsntIsn't 'My Cup Of Tea' – What Now?
Local motels, caravan parks, pub stay and self-contained accommodation will now be booked out over the AgQuip Field Days.

If you are after motel style accommodation, you will need to book accommodation in one of the towns surrounding Gunnedah, all of which are approximately one (1) hour's drive.
