Gunnedah Bird Sale & Expo

The Gunnedah Bird Sale & Expo is one of the largest sales on the east coast of Australia.  Bird Breeders and enthusiasts will exhibit, display and sell Birds of all varieties.  

More than 120 exhibitors are anticipated at attend the Sale/Expo with more than 2000 birds on display and up for sale.   

Trade Stands will set up in the Griffith Pavillion with merchandise for bird breeders and enthusiasts.  Namoi Valley Aviculture Club invites all interested people to come see a great variety of birds on display.  

The Bird sale is held in the Basketball Stadium.   Bird Entries will be received Friday evening from 5.00pm - 7.00pm & Saturday morning from 7.00am-9.00am.

Doors open to public - 9.30am, Sale starts 10.00am - Finishes 1.00pm
Selling of birds prior to 10.00am is strictly prohibited!
Bird Entry Fees $1.00 per bird - sell your own.  The Sale has a 4 birds per box rule no exceptions for anyone. On site SECURITY IS PROVIDED FOR THE DURATION OF THE BIRD SALE.  

Griffiths Pavillion adjacent to the Basketball Stadium will host the Trade Stands and is open from 8.00am.

Admission to the Sale in the Stadium is $5.00 per person, kids under 12years and aged pensioners are free.  

A BBQ breakfast provided by the Lions Club and is available from 7.00am, the Canteen is also operating run by the Basketball Association and a Coffee Van is on site for hot brews and cool refreshments.
