Like the changing of the seasons, every part of the year brings a different event to Gunnedah. From markets to festivals, and from agricultural field days to horse and car races, Gunnedah’s events reflect the passions of our people. Gunnedah Swap Meet
Come along and browse a huge variety of stalls. Buy, swap, barter and sell your secondhand items. Seek and ye shall find treasure. Old Cars, bikes, truck parts and pieces, old wares, rusty relics, upcycled goods, bric a brac and lots more. Gates open to the public Saturday at 7.00am.
Sunday gates open at 8.00am which is when the Car & Bike Show judging will be held. This will include Hot Rods, Vintage cars, Classic Street Machines & Motorcycles with trophies being awarded for 'BEST' in each class.
Gunnedah Service Club's food catering canteens on site over the weekend.
General public admission is $5 per person.
Swap Sites available - Outdoor sites $15 each and indoor sites $25 each (includes 1 person entry into Swap). Camping sites are available for Swap site holders; Unpowered sites $15 (for 2 people) and there are limited powered sites $20 (2 people). The Showground is open for set up from 2.00pm Friday 8 September.
